Wetted perimeter

The term 'Wetted perimeter' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' The distance along the bottom and sides of a stream, creek, or channel in contact with the water. Length of the wetted contact between a conveyed liguid and the open channel or closed conduit conveying it, measured in a plane at right angles to the direction of flow'.
